Here’s how to get tickets for Phils’ sold out Opening Day

The day is finally arriving for the Philadelph­ia Phillies.

After a long offseason preparing for another run toward an elusive third World Series title, the Phillies open the season Thursday against the Atlanta Braves at Citizens Bank Park. Game time is scheduled for 3:05 p.m.

Philadelph­ia Phillies Opening Day tickets

According to the Phillies website, the Opening Day is sold out. However, if you want to go, resale websites like SeatGeek and StubHub have tickets available. Ticket prices on these sites are set by the seller.

On StubHub, a single ticket is ranging from $125 in Section 301, Row 1 to $649 for tickets in Section 136, Row 7.

On SeatGeek, a single ticket is ranging from $161 in Terrace Deck 416, Row 17 to $5,775 for Section 103, Row 12.

Phillies Opening Day weather forecast

The weather isn’t looking good for Opening Day. After a rainy Wednesday, things aren’t looking much better for Thursday.

The Accuweathe­r.com forecast is calling for a 55% chance of rain Thursday afternoon with temperatur­es around 57 degrees. Winds out of the northwest at 10 mph will make it feel like 53 degrees.

If the game is postponed because of rain it will be made up Friday.

Who is the Phillies’ Opening Day starter?

Zack Wheeler will be the Phillies’ Opening Day starter, breaking a streak of six consecutiv­e Opening Day starts by Aaron Nola.

Wheeler agreed to a three-year contract extension this month worth $126 million. Wheeler was 13-6 last season with the Phillies and finished sixth in Cy Young voting while also earning a Gold Glove. He had a 3.61 ERA and struck out 212 batters. He averaged nine strikeouts per nine innings and had a strikeout-towalk ratio of 5.4.

Atlanta will counter with ace Spencer Strider. Strider was 20-5 last season with 281 strikeouts and a 3.86 ERA. Strider was 4-0 with a 2.42 ERA against

the Phillies during the regular season last year. In the postseason against the Phillies, he’s 0-3 with a 5.40 ERA.
