It’s a fun way to do something unconventional — and you’ll have lots of choices to grab a bite to eat throughout the journey.
Insider Monkey, the financial blog, just released its list of the 30 tallest buildings in the U.S. There is one in Philadelphia, and 16 in New York City.

● Comcast Technology Center, 1800 Arch St.: This 1,112-foot skyscraper was completed in 2018.

Here are the Big Apple’s 16 tallest skyscrapers:
● One World Trade Center, 285 Fulton St.: One World Trade Center is the tallest building in the United States, and the Western Hemisphere. Located in Lower Manhattan, it reaches a symbolic height of 1,776 feet.
● Central Park Tower, 217 W. 57th St.: This 1,550-foot residential skyscraper is in Midtown.
● 111 West 57th St.: Also known as Steinway Tower, this 84-story residential building in Midtown reaches 1,428 feet.
● One Vanderbilt, 1 Vanderbilt Ave.: Located in Midtown, the 1,401-foot structure was completed in 2020.
● 432 Park Avenue: Completed in 2015, this 1,397-foot residential skyscraper in Midtown overlooks Central Park.
● 30 Hudson Yards: This 1,270-foot skyscraper on the West Side of Midtown ranks eighth on the list of the tallest buildings in the U.S.
● Empire State Building, 20 W. 34th St.:OK, you’ve probably been to this one. At 1,250 feet, it was the tallest building in the world when the 102-story structure was completed in 1931. A symbol of the city and a National Historic Landmark, it is one of the most recognizable buildings on the planet.
● 3 World Trade Center, 175 Greenwich St.: Lower Manhattan’s 3 WTC, as it is often called, stands 1,079 feet.
● The Brooklyn Tower, 55 Fleet St.: The 1,066-foot Brooklyn Tower is a mixed-use skyscraper in the Downtown Brooklyn neighborhood.
● 53 West 53: This 77-story, 1,050foot Midtown building was completed in 2019.
● Chrysler Building, 405 Lexington Ave.: This legendary 1,046-foot skyscraper on the East Side of Manhattan was the tallest building in the world when it was completed in 1930.
● New York Times Tower, 242 W 41st St.: Also known as The New York Times Building, the 52-story, 1,046-foot skyscraper is near Times Square on the West Side of Midtown.
● The Spiral, 66 Hudson Blvd E.: Also known as 66 Hudson Blvd., this 1,030-foot building is on the West Side in Midtown.
● One57, 157 W. 57th St.: Previously known as Carnegie 57, this 75-story, 1,004-foot skyscraper is in Midtown.
● 35 Hudson Yards: This 1,000-foot building is a mixed-use skyscraper composed of apartment units and a hotel on Manhattan’s West Side.
● One Manhattan West, 395 9th Ave.: This 67-story office tower on the West Side is 996 feet.
