Frontier Airlines’ offers new routes out of Philly
Daily service to Detroit added to PHL lineup
Travelers looking for a quick jaunt to Pittsburgh or looking to travel further west to Chicago and Kansas City can take advantage of Frontier Airlines’ newest routes out of Philadelphia International Airport.
Flights to those and other destinations begin Thursday and to get folks on planes to celebrate, Frontier is offering flights to these new destinations starting at $59.

Frontier Airlines issued a press release confirming the new routes and their frequency.
The new flights are:
● Pittsburgh International Airport
● Detroit Metropolitan Wayne County Airport
● Milwaukee Mitchell International Airport
● Portland International Jetport in Maine (PWM)
● McGhee Tyson Airport in Knoxville, Tennessee
“These five new routes kick off an exciting month for the airline at PHL, with an additional seven routes launching next week,” Frontier said in a release.

How do I take advantage Frontier Airlines’ $59 offer?
There are a few caveats to be aware of before purchasing a ticket, however.
“Fares must be purchased by 11:59 p.m. Eastern Time on May 31, 2024,” read the terms of the $59 offer. “Fares are valid for non-stop travel on select days of week. Fares are valid for travel June 1, through Sept. 30, 2024.
“The following blackout dates apply: June 28-30, 2024, July. 1-7, 2024; Aug. 30-31, 2024; Sept. 1-3, 2024. 21-day advance purchase is required. Round trip purchase is not required.”

Aldi has announced a recall for cream cheese spreads due to possible salmonella contamination, according to a release sent on Wednesday.
Aldi, in connection with Schreiber Foods, is recalling Whipped Cream Cheese Spread, Chive & Onion Cream Cheese Spread, Cream Cheese Spread and Strawberry Cream Cheese Spread sold in 8-ounce cups.
Along with Delaware, the products were sold in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Maryland, Alabama, Arizona, Arkansas, California, District of Columbia, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kentucky, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, New York, North Carolina, North Dakota, Ohio, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, West Virginia and Wisconsin.
Aldi did not say if it received any reports of illness connected to the recalled products. Consumers should discard the recalled products or return them to the store where they were purchased for a full refund.
