Colonials sweep

DANBURY — Senior forward Aaron Samuel score 20 points, and junior forward Fenton Bradley Jr. added 19 points and six rebounds to lead the Western Connecticut State University men’s basketball team to a 94-70 victory over Plymouth State University on Saturday afternoon at Feldman Arena.

Senior guard Geary McLeod and junior guard Ronald Jefferson (Brooklyn, CT) also reachd double figures in scoring for WestConn (10-5, 4-2 Little East), finishing with 11 and 10, respectively. McLeod and junior forward Tracy Cleckley Jr. had four assists apiece.

WOMEN’S BASKETBALL

DANBURY — Junior guard Genesis Torres scored 21 points and added six rebounds to lead the Colonials to a 73-55 victory over Plymouth State University.
