Sandra Gloria Berry

Sandra Gloria Berry, of New Milford, CT, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, January 10th, 2019.

She was born in Danbury, CT July 13, 1937 to the late James F. Chambers and Marjorie HillChambers. In addition to her parents she was predeceased by her brother James and her sister Mary Lou Marchese. She was predeceased by the love of her life, Russell “Ed-e” Berry. She loved to tell how they met at the roller rink when they were just teenagers. They were united in marriage for 57 years. Professionally she was employed at Risdon, Arrowhead Enterprise and Wentworth. She was a avid reader and extraordinary homemaker who loved her home. Her life was dedicated to her husband and three sons.

Sandy is survived by her sons, Russ and his wife Julie, Jeff and Karren, Craig and wife Sue; seven grandchildren Kyle, Joseph, Emily, Jeffrey, Trevor, Steven and Ryan and nephews Andrew and Matt Marchese. She will be forever remembered as a beloved and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and friend.

The family will receive friends at the Lillis Funeral Home, 58 Bridge Street, New Milford, CT, on Wednesday, January 16, 2019 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. A small devotion will take place at the conclusion of the calling hours. Interment will be private.
