POLICE SEEK INFORMATION ON THEFTS, BREAK-INS

Ridgefield police are investigating the recent theft of two dirt bikes, as well as several vehicle break-ins.

The dirt bikes were stolen from a residence in the West

Mountain Road area, and multiple vehicles were rummaged through in the area of Florida Hill Road and Barry Avenue, police said.

A stolen vehicle out of Wilton was also recovered on Florida Hill Road, according to authorities.

“We urge all residents to continue to be diligent with securing your vehicles and removing your personal effects,” Capt. Shawn Platt said.
