Create the kitchen of your dreams
EG Home hosts Dream Kitchen Event through Nov. 18
What’s in the kitchen of your dreams? A simple question — but one that local home builder EG Home discovered has many answers.
As EG’s Lead Designer Kate MacMillan explained, “A kitchen becomes so much more than just cabinets, tiles and countertops. For one family, we’ll extend an island to make extra room for baking cookies with their grandkids, and for another family, we have to make sure they have enough oven space to do all their different dishes at their annual St Patrick’s Day party!”
Seizing on the affection we have for kitchens, EG Home is having a Dream Kitchen Event. From Oct. 13 through Nov. 18, when someone buys a home at Chatfield Farms in Beacon Falls or Trailside Reserve in Monroe, they’ll get $ 10,000 worth of kitchen upgrades, including cabinetry, countertops, appliances, faucets, etc.
Based on the feedback gathered from current EG Home homeowners, the Dream Kitchen Event should resonate with many home buyers.
“My wife Rose and I have such fond memories of working with the EG Home staff to create the kitchen of our dreams,” David Rhodes said. “The flexibility to select different finishes for the cabinets, along with being able to add a prep sink with disposal to the island and a pot filler over the cooktop. The design of the whole kitchen has made meal prep and entertaining very easy. And I would be remiss if I didn’t add that Kate, Bill, Adam and Matt all made the design and decision processes manageable and fun.”
Fellow EG Home homeowners Tracy and Jim Fracasse concur.
“It was so much fun designing our dream kitchen. Coordinating colors, cabinets, granite, and functionality can be a daunting task. Plus, we wanted to incorporate a wine cooler and other additions to the origi- nal plan. I must say working with the expertise of Bill and the team made it a stress-free and rewarding experience. We couldn’t be happier! #loveourkitchen.”
That teamwork is all part of the process, Kate MacMillan said.
“I love the relationships that we form with our customers when we work together to make their home truly their own. We meet face-to-face and spend time figuring out the details as a team. Together, we choose cabinets, tile, appliances, faucets, hardware and countertops that work so beautifully together, you just say ‘wow’ when it comes together.”
