Realtor focuses on staying updated on the local market
ARealtor since 2005, Linda Anderson previously had a New York license from 1990 to 1992 and was an agent in Manhattan, doing residential rentals on the Upper East Side.
With a bachelor’s degree in business management from Simmons College prior to launching a career in real estate, she was a management consultant at PricewaterhouseCoopers in Manhattan.
In that position, Anderson honed skills for working with clients, customer interaction and managing customer expectations.
“Having a professional background only enhances the customer experience I have today,” she said.
After commuting to New York for six months after 9/11, she decided it was time for a change. Real estate was a natural transition to a career in which she already had experience and that allowed her to remain closer to home and her family.
Anderson, who primarily serves Ridgefield, Danbury and Redding, keeps up with what’s happening on the market and local events that affect the area and has a great deal of passion.
“If I’m not actively working in real estate, I’m thinking about it,” she said.
When working with buyers, she listens to what they describe and tries to match them up with what they want. Because of her knowledge of the market and practice of going to see all the inventory, she can find what she is looking for expediently.
With sellers, she makes the best marketing package of the property as possible through staging, packing things up and completing small projects, such as giving walls a fresh Business: Neumann Real Estate Christies Expertise: Residential real estate Works: Ridgefield

coat of paint.
“I believe heavily in pricing it accordingly,” she said. “You need to list at the right number; you don’t want to waste time on the market.”
Anderson wants everyone involved in a transaction to come out happy.
“I work to have it be a win, win at all times,” she said. “For people this is their biggest investment for the most part, it affects them so I want it a positive.”
Anderson has two daughters, one a sophomore in college, the other a senior at Ridgefield High School. She is dating her high school sweetheart, with whom she enjoys boating.
