Oz and Monte for change

-

There are many people in this state who are neither far left nor far right. These are the moderates who know we need to bring about change and they are dissatisfied with the tired old rhetoric that the two well-funded D and R candidates for governor continue to spout. And they can afford to spout it everywhere — TV, radio, social media.

Is it really their positions or those of their parties who won’t give up an inch of their turf and expect everyone to buy that pap? Don’t buy it people. There is a better answer, but it will take courage to make the change you want.

Independent thinkers Oz Griebel and Monte Frank — one former Republican, one former Democrat — have formed that perfect union. Oz Griebel and Monte Frank are the only choice for those of us who live on the middle ground. We don’t like to see our hard-earned taxpayer money squandered, but we also want to make sure our most vulnerable are cared for and that discrimination of any kind — race, gender and sexual orientation — has no place in our Connecticut.

While the other candidates have been busy slathering on TV makeup for their high-cost, glitzy campaign ads that keep them at arm’s length from the very people they purport to represent, Oz and Monte are sitting in living rooms around the state, looking people in the eye and giving them direct, honest answers. No one can outwork them, and no one can match their sincere passion. Please listen to them. I know you’ll like what you hear.

On Nov. 6, vote for Oz and Monte. Don’t over-think this. This is not a chess game where one move might lead to another guy getting in. Be courageous. Change is hard, but the choice for this election has never been easier.
