ARTISTS NEEDED ▶ FOR YEARLONG JURIED PROJECT

The Cultural Alliance of Western Connecticut is seeking artists to apply for juried art shows to be held in Danbury and Bethel next year.

The Accessible Art Project is a collaboration with the Cultural Alliance and public and private venues in Danbury and Bethel.

Artists are selected by jury and matched to a venue for an art exhibit. Each location mounts about five exhibitions per year. More information is provided during registration and after selections are com- pleted. Each exhibit is on view for about eight weeks. Artists may be selected for more than one location.

This is a unique opportunity to exhibit works in nontraditional spaces. It is also an opportunity for the public to have greater access to original artwork. The first round of exhibits will begin in late February. Membership is required for artists to participate.

For information and to apply, artists can submit an entry online at cawct.org/ accessible-art. New business partnerships in the 10 towns served by the Cultural Alliance are welcome.

The deadline for entries is Jan. 18.

The Accessible Art Project is open to all emerging and working artists located in Western Connecticut and Putnam County.

Contact the Cultural Alliance at info@cawct.org or 203-798-0760.
