Michael Duva, age 57, of Danbury, Connecticu­t passed away on Wednesday, February 17, 2021, after a courageous battle with cancer. Michael was born November 28, 1963, to the late Michael and Paula Duva.

Michael worked at Stop & Shop on Newtown Road for over 25 years before his illness. Michael will be missed greatly by all his customers and many friends.

Michael leaves behind his loving wife of 30 years, Lena (Moffa) Duva, and beloved son, Troy Michael Duva. Michael is also survived by his brother Chris Duva (Margaret), sisters Teri Gallignano, Patti Eberlin (Bob), and brother Jack Duva (Betty). In addition, Michael leaves behind his Mother-in-Law Violanda Moffa, Brother-in-Laws Louis Moffa, Joseph Moffa, several nieces and nephews, and several Great Nieces and Nephews. Mike’s family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Danbury Hospital for providing Michael the best of care.
