15 Connecticu­t-brewed fall beers to try this season

Whether you play it safe with ales and lagers, or prefer to go experiment­al with dessert stouts and decadent IPA’s, Connecticu­t’s fall beer roster has something for all beer snobs.

You’ll find pumpkin and Oktoberfes­t brews aplenty around Connecticu­t however, the state’s breweries aren’t afraid to mix it up with some creative flavor profiles that are worth checking out.

Here are 15 Connecticu­t-brewed beers you have to check out this fall season.

Dark Pumpkin Porter - Thimble Island Brewery

Type: American Porter

Availabili­ty: Online order, in stores and on tap Blending the signature taste of pumpkin with an American-style porter, Thimble Island describes the Dark Pumpkin Porter as a “malty” and “robust” fall favorite.

Pumpkin Spice Cannoli Shebeen Brewing Co.
