Timothy Edward Hagan, 55, of New Milford, CT, died at Danbury Hospital on Tuesday, March 8, 2022 following a heroic battle with cancer and heart disease.

Mr. Hagan was born in New Milford, son of the late William J. and Patricia (Kelly) Hagan. A 1984 graduate of Canterbury School, he graduated from Columbia University and also attended UCONN and Harvard University.

As a chemical engineer, he managed teams responsibl­e for quality and validation in the aerospace, medical device and pharmaceut­ical industries, as well as FDA regulated polymeric and metallurgi­cal research, testing and handling.

Mr. Hagan was passionate about his beloved New York Rangers. He loved to travel and enjoyed the company of his many friends. He was a Third Degree Knight of Columbus of Loyal Council 30 at Sacred Heart Of Jesus Parish in

Danbury and treasured the friendship­s made there.

Mr. Hagan is survived by his sister, Mary Elizabeth Hagan and her partner, Gary Culbert of New Milford; brother, William J. Hagan Jr. and sister-in-law, Catherine Hagan; nephew, William J. Hagan III and niece, Christine Hagan Cappiello, all of Bethel; step-nieces, Amy Raefski of Middlebury and Laurie Viveros of Woodbury, as well as numerous cousins.

Friends may call on Tuesday, March 15, 2022 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Lillis Funeral Home, 58 Bridge Street, New Milford, CT. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday, March 16, 2022 at 11:30 a.m. at St. Francis Xavier Church, New Milford, CT. Interment will be privte.
