Michael J. German

It is with great sadness and deeply broken hearts that we must inform all family, friends and loved ones that Michael J. German, age 39 died at his home in Watertown, CT on March 26, 2022. Michael was born June 6, 1982, in Gettysburg, PA. He attended schools in Johnstown, PA and Stafford Springs, CT as well as Hazleton, PA. He graduated in 2000 from Danbury High School, Danbury, CT and attended Henry Abbott Technical School where he graduated from the electrical program.

Michael was employed by Budderfly Electrical where he was a field supervisor. Michael enjoyed paintball, racing RC cars and attending car shows. Jack, his husky, held a special place in Michael’s heart.

Michael was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church Danbury, CT.

He was predecease­d by grandparen­ts Allen and

Dorothy (Sonderscha­fer) German and Andrew and Evelyn (Bobyock) Drake who had all resided in the Hazleton area.

Michael is survived by his parents Reverend Allen and Lorraine (Drake) German and his brother Greg, all of Blue Hill, Maine. He also leaves his loving companion Courtney Babcock, CT and his uncle William Smith, PA.

Michael was an organ and tissue donor and knowing that by helping others he lives on is a great comfort to his family.
