She is survived by her stepmother, Pearl; her brother, Brian; and stepbrother, Chris; her stepsisters, Linh and Lien and their families; her beloved daughters, Nicole, Danielle and her husband, Stephen, and Jill; her cherished grandchildren, Aaron, Arthur, Edward, Justin and his wife Elizabeth, and Alessia and her husband Ryan; and her great-grandchildren, Cameron, Breme, Sierra, Margo and Rory.

Judy was a Registered Nurse and held a Masters Degree in Nursing from Lehman College in New York. While she had experience in Medical-Surgical nursing, the majority of her work and interest was in the Psychiatric field. She also enjoyed her experiences teaching and supervising new nurses at Fairfield Hills Hospital and Danbury Hospital.

Judy was an intelligent, creative, and active woman, who had a passion for travel and the arts. Her many years of singing with the Connecticut Master Chorale included performances at Carnegie Hall. She enjoyed time spent with family and friends at museums, concerts, and shows, especially when she was with her grandchildren, for whom she hoped to pass her love of the arts. She was an avid reader, gardener, bird watcher, and cook, who enjoyed throwing themed dinner parties for her many friends. Childhood summers on the Jersey Shore led to a love of swimming, body surfing, and walking the beach looking for the perfect shell; a pastime that she shared with her children and their families.

The family would like to extend special thanks for the wonderful and caring nurses, aides, volunteers and workers at Regional Hospice who helped make her last days with us comfortable.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to one of her favorite theaters, Goodspeed Opera House, P.O Box A, East Haddam, CT 06423-0281, that supports and nurtures local actors and musicians, or The Rotary Club of Danbury, P.O. Box 788, Danbury, CT 06813.
