John B. Brady

John B. Brady of New Milford, CT, beloved husband of Kathy and loving father of Corey and Morgan, passed away Saturday June 16, 2018 in Boston, MA, at the age of 79.

He was born July 5, 1938 in Brooklyn, NY, son of the late John and Eugenia (Tworkowski) Brady. He graduated from Brooklyn Technical High School in 1956 then served with the U.S. Army from 1958 to 1962. After serving in the Army he attended Mitchell College and the University of Bridgeport. On May 26, 1973 he married Kathleen Byrnes in Brookfield, CT. They have lived in New Milford, CT, for the past forty years. Mr. Brady was a Mechanical Engineer and had worked at Demetron Research in Danbury for seventeen years. He was a member of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers.

Besides his wife Kathy of New Milford, CT, he is survived by his daughters, Morgan Degan of Pleasant Valley, NY and Corey Pegues of Waxhaw, NC, brothers; Robert Brady of Stony Brook, NY, Joseph Brady of Stony Brook, NY, James Brady of Oceanside, NY and Thomas Brady of Morgan Hill, CA, a sister Eugenia Wrona of Westford, MA, grandchildren, Brady, Kai, Hudson, Cole, Shea and Riley, twenty eight nieces and nephews and his beloved in and out laws.

Calling hours will be held on Thursday June 21, 2018 from

5:00 pm to 8:00 p.m. followed by a funeral service at 8:00 p.m. at the Lillis Funeral Home, 58 Bridge Street, New Milford, CT. Interment will be private.
