Washington Legion a walk-off winner against Shelton

WASHINGTON, Conn. — Ethan Hibbard laced a three-run, walk-off single as the Washington 19U American Legion baseball team defeated Shelton 12-11 on Sunday.

Zach Prahach went 3for-5, Beau Root went 3-for-3 with three runs and Chance Dutcher went 2-for-2 with two walks for Washington, while Root, Trey Martin and Connor Gannon shared the pitching duties.

William Ciccone and David Wells pitched for Shelton, and Wells went 4-for-5 with two runsbatted-in.
