Anthony Esposito

Anthony (Tony) Esposito a long time resident of New Fairfield, CT died unexpectedly on Thursday, August 16, 2018. He was the husband of the late Marion Esposito.

Anthony was born in Astoria, New York on February 23, 1948 to the late Sabato and Lucille Esposito. Anthony proudly served our country as a Gunners Mate in the United States Army and bravely fought in The Vietnam War.

He recently retired after working for Con Edison for 30+ years. Anthony enjoyed traveling with friends and weekly meetings with fellow veterans.

Anthony is predeceased by his wife, Marion Esposito, who died Jan. 1, 2016.

He is survived by his sister, Lucille White, of Levittown, NY. His daughter, Lauren Runco, her husband, Nicholas. His three grandchildren: Olivia, Anthony and Joseph. Many family and friends who loved him dearly also survive.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. on Monday, August 20, 2018 at St. Edward Church, New Fairfield, CT. Interment will be at the convenience of the family.

Friends will be received from 2 p.m.-5 p.m. on Sunday, August, 19, 2018 at the Green Funeral Home, 57 Main St., Danbury, CT.
