Nov. 14, 1956 – Dec. 8, 2018

Laurie Pavicich Taylor-Fisher, 62 years of age, of Brookfield, CT, peacefully went to be with the Lord on Dec. 8, 2018. She has rejoined her parents, Roy and Rose, and many close friends and family.

She is survived by her beloved husband and soulmate Thomas “Skip” Fisher, her daughter Amanda and her husband Shawn, grandsons Mason and Braydon, sons Michael, Timmy and TJ and his wife Colleen, her sister Diana and her husband Rich, her brother Roy and his wife Rochelle, along with extended nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Laurie had a relationship with the Lord throughout her adult life. She loved to share the love of her Jesus whether she was praying with people, helping feed people, lifting the downtrodden or waving her hands in worship. She was fiercely protective of those she loved, especially her boys. You didn’t want to cross her when she was in “mama bear mode!”

She enjoyed doing crafts and creating things. She especially enjoyed creating beautiful cards. She loved to shop, browsing stores and thrift shops. She was always looking for a bargain, usually to give away. She loved Christmas and shopped yearround looking for special things for special people. Sometimes she would make gifts – often handing them out randomly to lift people’s spirits.

She adored her grandsons. She also loved her pets. She had a heart for all animals and had a special relationship with them. The world is a better place because of Laurie. The lives she touched are better because of it. The people she loved will miss her until the time they meet again.

A special Memorial Service for Laurie will be held at Walnut Hill Community Church, 156 Walnut Hill Rd., Bethel, CT (203-7967373) on Friday, December 14th at 2:00 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that donations be made to a special Go Fund Me site at: https://www.gofundme. com/ skip laurie need your help
