Steven P. Bloom passed away on January 20, 2019. He is survived by his loving wife of twenty years, Sharon Austin Bloom, and his adored daughter, Dara Bloom (m. Gerald Cohn) of Durham, NC. Steven was born February 11, 1947 in New York, NY to parents Sally and Bill Bloom, and was predecease­d by his beloved little sister, Robin. He graduated from the University of Wisconsin at Madison and attended graduate school for theater at the University of California at Berkley. Steven pioneered his own business, turning his talent for writing into a successful consulting company with internatio­nal and domestic corporate clients. He made every person he met feel like they had a special connection, developing lifelong friendship­s across the world. Steven lived with a sense of adventure scuba diving, skiing, hunting, and playing tennis - and had a passion for eccentric food. His loyal friendship, joy for life, and bad jokes will be missed by all. Steven gained thirty years of life because of organ transplant­ation and was dedicated to science and medicine.
