CRASH KNOCKS OUT POWER

More than 200 customers were without power Sunday morning after a car crash on North Street.

The crash occurred near the intersection with Main Street, and caused 224 outages, according to Eversource’s outage map.

Eversource reported the outages shortly after 6:30 a.m. and restored power just over an hour later.

A dispatcher with Ridgefield police did not have details on how many cars were involved or whether the road was closed.
