⏩ TOWN STARTS POTHOLE REPAIRS

Crews began working on potholes in New Milford on Tuesday focusing on Gaylordsville, Aspetuck Ridge and Candlewood Lake South.

The first patch crew will be on Lone Oak, preparing for the start of the chip seal program. The second patch crew will be on Candlewood Lake South and the third patch crew will be on Legion, Malletts, Upper Malletts, Mine Hill and Sun Pond, Mayor Pete Bass posted on Facebook.

“Thank you for your patience as we continue to address the potholes on our road system,” Bass wrote. “This winter's rain and temperature shifts caused extensive upheavals and potholes in our road system.”
