Hatters’ Solimine dominates Trinity

DANBURY — Justin Solimine turned another dominating performance Monday, tossing a complete-game one-hitter with 16 strikeouts to lead the Danbury baseball team past Trinity Catholic 7-0.

Solimine carried a perfect game into the seventh, but a one-out single ended that. He also collected two hits at the plate as the Hatters improved to 12-4. Javon Hernandez added two hits, three runs scored and three stolen bases for Danbury.
