Art show to benefit ambulance association

An art show to benefit the Newtown Volunteer Ambulance Corps will continue through July 31.

The AIR fine art gallery and the Avance Day Spa host the show, “The Art of Living,” which opened at the beginning of the month. Various paintings will be for sale, with proceeds helping the ambulance corps purchase items such as CPR manikins and a mechanical CPR device called a “thumper.”

Spa and gallery hours are from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Wednesday, 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday and 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday.
