Farm to host programs

Deer Pond Farm is offering bird and other programs this weekend.

Jim Arrigoni, conservation biologist, and Angela Dimmitt, local expert birder, will lead an “Early Bird Walk” from 6 to 8 a.m. Saturday. Arrigoni will also host a “Not-So-Early Bird Walk” from 8:30 to

10:30 a.m. Saturday. Deirdra Wallin, program coordinator, and Christine Ranno, coordinator of children’s services at the Sherman Library, will hold “Children’s Story Time with Craft & Nature Walk” from

10 a.m. to noon Saturday. A “Birding Hot Spot Hike” will be held from noon to 2 p.m. Sunday with Cathy Hagadorn, director of Deer Pond Farm.
