FM’s 95.9 drops The Fox brand

On Mon­day, 95.9 The Fox dropped its mon­icker in fa­vor of “Fair­field County Rocks” with a fo­cus on newer rock mu­sic over more than two decades from the late 1980s, af­ter a long em­pha­sis on the 1960s and 1970s. The West­port-based ra­dio op­er­a­tor Con­nois­seur Me­dia op­er­ates WFOX on the 95.9 FM band. Allan Lam­berti, Cari Ed­wards and Keith Dakin will con­tinue their re­spec­tive shifts in the morn­ing, mid­day and af­ter­noon hours.
