FM’s 95.9 drops The Fox brand

On Monday, 95.9 The Fox dropped its monicker in favor of “Fairfield County Rocks” with a focus on newer rock music over more than two decades from the late 1980s, after a long emphasis on the 1960s and 1970s. The Westport-based radio operator Connoisseur Media operates WFOX on the 95.9 FM band. Allan Lamberti, Cari Edwards and Keith Dakin will continue their respective shifts in the morning, midday and afternoon hours.
