Democrats seem bent on bringing down Trump

-

Challenging and sad are my efforts to describe the errant behavior of the Democratic party and their passionate supporters who regularly contribute to these pages. Having used the last arrow in their quiver, that being the Mueller Report, they now must resort to their signature action: character assassination. Stated differently, good ole mud slinging.

Stung by the use of the word “spying” by Attorney General William Barr, and his subsequent statements regarding his desire to find the “predicate”on which the FBI requests for FISA warrants were based, the Democrats scurry about for something, anything, to hang their hats on. They are, or should be, aware that the fruits of two years of investigative journalism by crack reporters has been realized, and the results when examined by Attorney General Barr, will expose the entire grand plot to overturn the results of the 2016 election.

The FBI, the Justice Department and others involved in this grand scheme will be exposed. Oh, and the Obama administration, too. All were acutely aware of this sinister operation and its design to undermine Donald Trump. The Democrats must continue their efforts to stifle any and all exposure of this radical overthrow. At all costs, Obama and his legacy must be protected.

Given all their attempts to hog-tie President Trump, the President has managed to accomplish great things. The economy is moving at a brisk pace, jobs which we were told “would never come back to the US,” have come back. No need to mention the unemployment rate being the lowest in 50-plus years and trade deals being realized to the benefit of our country. Of course, these realities mean nothing to our friends, the Democrats or, the regular contributors to these pages who continue to find new words in their lexicon of hate.

Well, to them I offer a ray of hope. The Democrats, sinister fellows (and ladies) they are, have been plotting to see that this president must not be re-elected. There are myriad reasons for this, but I’ll give you just two: the Supreme Court, and the ultimate shredding of the Obama legacy by a second term.

So rest assured my friends on the other side of the political spectrum, your party is even now making inroads in at least two States: Pennsylvania and Texas. No candidate can win without these. Not even Trump. Of course, given the astonishing selection of wannabes on the Democrat side, anything can happen. Let the games begin!
