ROAD WORK TO CLOSE 2 EXITS ON I-84

Road work will cause of evening closures of two Interstate 84 exits in Newtown this week.

The state Department of Transportation says the closures “are necessary to facilitate construction/safety improvement activities on I-84 in Newtown.”

Westbound Exit 10 will be closed on Wednesday and Thursday between 10 p.m. and 5 a.m. Eastbound Exit 9 will be closed on Friday and Saturday between 10 p.m. and 5 a.m..
