Home after nine months

One year ago, I, Brad Owens and my wife, Wendy, lost our mobile home in Danbury because of the macroburst on May 15. What could have been a horrible, traumatic time was nine months of blessings thanks to many wonderful people, loving friends of Jesse Lee United Methodist Church and the blessed leaders at Saint Mary’s of Ridgefield. We were displaced but never homeless all those months!

Now, as of Feb. 15, we are in our new beautiful home on the same lot. It is incredible! We also want to thank our friends and residents of Ridgefield and beyond who prayed and/or helped us with many generous gifts without which it would have been a very difficult nine months.

We also want to thank The Ridgefield Press, which published the original article written by our friend, Kate Hartford. God blessed us through many terrific people, and we can’t thank you enough!
