HAWLEYVILLE FIRE COMPANY TO HOLD OPEN HOUSE

Hawleyville Volunteer Fire Company No. 1 will host an open house from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday at the 34 Hawleyville Road fire station .

Volunteers will offer fire truck tours, free Amber Alert registration, child ID cards and free hot dogs and soda.

Founded in 1926, Hawleyville Volunteer Fire is one of five fire companies in Newtown.
