BROOKFIELD WOMAN CHARGED IN LARCENY, FORGERY

A Brookfield woman is facing forgery and larceny charges in connection with a February incident.

Elizabeth M. Schultz, 29, was arrested on three outstanding warrants Monday and charged with four counts of sixth-degree larceny and four counts of second-degree forgery.

The warrants were issued following an extensive larceny investigation in Sherman, state police said. Details on the February incident were not readily available.

Schultz was taken into Danbury police custody Monday on active failure-to-appear warrants, then transferred to Connecticut State Police for the three outstanding warrants.

The failure-to-appear warrants were for driving with a handheld device and driving with a suspended license in September, and first-degree criminal trespass and sixth-degree larceny in January.

Schultz posted $11,000 bond for the forgery and larceny charges, and is scheduled to appear June 13 in state Superior Court in Danbury.
