‘Summer of Love’ promotion set

New Canaan stores and restaurants are banding together for a joint promotion in early June to drum up business, pegged to the

50th anniversary of Woodstock and the Summer of Love. The promotion runs

5-7 p.m. on June 7 and 11

a.m.-3 p.m. on June 8, with

50 entities participating, including the New Canaan Farmer’s Market and L’Armoire whose owner Diane Roth is organizing the event. Multiple stores are offering discounts of 19.69 percent off regular prices and other perks. For information, visit the New Canaan Chamber of Commerce website.
