BROOKFIELD
Students from St. Joseph Catholic Academy in Brookfield have been raising trout in the classroom for the past several months. The students released the trout on Friday into Lake Lillinonah, on the north shore of the lake on the east side of Route 133.

Students and parents from St. Joseph Catholic Academy, Brookfield, headed to the lake to release trout that were raised in the classroom of fourth-grade science teacher Marde Dimon. The trout, raised from eggs donated by Trout Unlimited, are part of the Trout in the Classroom environmental education program. Tseng, a former St. Joseph student, accompanied his younger brother to the event.
