FCIAC, SCC re­new se­ries for two more sea­sons

It was an­nounced Mon­day that for the fifth con­sec­u­tive sea­son, the FCIAC and the SCC will play each other in one game for the next two sea­sons in base­ball.

No­table cross­over games in­culde Class LL semi­fi­nal­ists Amity tak­ing on LL quar­ter­fi­nal­ists Trumbull; Class LL cham­pion Sta­ples fac­ing Class L semi­fi­nal­ists Notre Dame-West Haven and Class M cham­pion St. Joseph going up against peren­nial con­tender Daniel Hand.

Shee­han, Jonathan Law and Wil­bur Cross from the SCC and Trin­ity Catholic from the FCIAC will not par­tic­i­pate.

For 2021, the home and away teams will flip from the 2020 matchups.
