Hamden cable maker sold
Ohio-based TPC Wire & Cable has acquired EZ Form Cable, a Hamden maker of coaxial cable and connectors used in wireless radio-frequency and microwave systems for defense, space and communications. TPC did not say what it paid for EZ Form, with TPC backed by the Bostonbased Audax Private Equity investment firm. EZ Form was founded in 1984 by CEO Frank Volpe, who worked a decade for a Wallingford unit of the Massachusetts-based RF systems company known today as MACOM.
