- — kkoerting@newstimes.com

A spaghetti dinner will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday at Odd Fellows Hall, 25 Danbury Road, to benefit Camella’s Cupboard, which provides meals to children in need when school is out of session.

Tickets are $10 for adults, $8 for seniors, $5 for children younger than 12 children and free if younger than 2. They are available at the door.

Families can now sign up to participate in the program through the nonprofit’s website at www.camellascupboard.com. Need is self identified. Pickup starts June 21.

Last year, 142 children signed up for the program and founder Angela Chastain said there are already 150 children signed up. New Milford doesn’t qualify for federal aid and so the program operates through donations.

Donations may be sent to Camella’s Cupboard at PO Box 1771, New Milford or dropped off at the New Milford Mayor’s Office. Food donations can be purchased through an Amazon wishlist available on the group’s website.
