Huskies add three future opponents

The UConn football team has added seven games to its future schedules, entering into agreements with Temple, Wyoming and Florida International. The school made the announcement Wednesday.

UConn’s agreement with Wyoming is for only one game, scheduled for Sep. 25,

2021 at Pratt & Whitney Stadium in East Hartford. It will be the first matchup between UConn and Wyoming, which plays in the Mountain West Conference. The matchup is a product of a cancellation agreement between Clemson and Wyoming.

The series with FIU includes two games, the first on Oct. 8, 2022 in Miami and the return game on Oct.

14, 2023 in East Hartford. UConn has never played FIU, which competes in Conference USA.

The series with Temple, which dates back to the 1963 season, will resume in the

2024 season on Oct. 5 at Pratt & Whitney Stadium. The Huskies will travel to Temple on Oct. 10, 2026 and Sep. 30, 2028 while hosting their second game of the agreement on Sep. 4, 2027.
