CHIPOTLE TO OPEN 2 NEW LOCATIONS ⏩

The new Chipotle Mexican Grill locations in Danbury and New Milford offer an extra convenience factor: a “Chipotlane” drive-thru option for pickup orders.

The Danbury restaurant, at 81 Newtown Road, opened March 17, and the New Milford restaurant, at 169 Danbury Road, opened March 18. They’re the first in the area to offer a drive-thru lane that allows customers to pick up digital orders without leaving their cars.

Both locations will host fundraisers on the evening of March 30 to support their town’s high school. New Milford’s Chipotle will donate funds to New Milford High’s all-night, free graduation party, with live entertainment, games and memorabilia. Guests can use the code V3Z3PWK on any digital order placed via the Chipotle app or website for pickup that day, and 33 percent of sales will go to the party.

The Danbury Chipotle is hosting a fundraiser to support the Danbury High School PTO, with the money raised going toward an athletic entrance beautification project. Chipotle has announced a new “hand-crafted” quesadilla to join its fast-casual menu of burritos, bowls, tacos, salads and sides, with fillings like chicken, steak, carnitas, barbacoa,

sofritas or fajita vegetables. The quesadilla is served with a choice of three salsas or sides, including rice and beans, and is available as a digital-only menu iitem.

The Danbury and New Milford locations are open daily from 10:45 a.m. to 10 p.m.
