STATE POLICE SEEK HIT-AND-RUN DIVER OF A CARGO VAN

State police are looking for the driver of a cargo van involved in an early Sunday morning hit-and-run on westbound Interstate 84 in Danbury.

The incident occurred in the center lane of the highway near Exit 1 around 5:20 a.m., when a white cargo van attempted to pass a 2020 Jeep Grand Cherokee on the right and sideswiped the Jeep’s passenger side.

Police said no injuries were reported, but the van continued down I-84 without stopping.
