BETHEL — Bethel’s very own chocolate company is about to have an even bigger national presence thanks to a new partnership with Edible Arrangements, a popular edible gift basket business.

Noteworthy Chocolates, which sells chocolate engraved with custom messages, will now be offered on Edible.com. Products are available in white, milk, and dark chocolate flavors and will sport a variety of engraved “card” offerings, including specifically curated holiday greetings like “Merry & Bright” and “Season’s Greetings.”

The partnership will run year-round and include different seasonal offerings, according to a press release.

Married couple Michael and Jennifer Sauvageau own the business together. The Sauvageaus created their unique chocolate engraving laser lab in 2016 after launching a successful Kickstarter campaign which brought in over $28,000. In the intervening years, they’ve made custom chocolate engravings for weddings, anniversaries, birthdays, holidays, and other events.

“When Edible approached us about a partnership, the idea just made so much sense,” said Michael Sauvageau in the press release. “The demand for personalized gifts keeps growing, and we knew we could provide an answer to that demand for Edible.”

Noteworthy’s chocolate is made from premium Fair Trade, kosher chocolate that is also peanut, tree nut, soy, corn, and gluten free, the release said. The company’s dark chocolate is also dairy-free and vegan.

“We are thrilled and grateful for the vote of confidence from this established and beloved brand,” Michael Sauvageau said.
