New Fairfield, Connecticu­t Corinne Crowley Hickey, at age, 96 passed away peacefully on November 21. She survived by her daughter, Joanne, and her son Bruce and his wife, Lisa, and many dear friends. She joins her late husband Bruce Senior, parents Joseph and Alline, and her sister Alline (junior) Crowley.

Corinne was born and raised in Yonkers, NY, and graduated from Gorton High School. She attended Endicott College in Beverly, Massachuse­tts, and worked as a florist and bookkeeper for Crowley Flower Shop, the family business located in Yonkers. The Crowley Hickey families arrived in Candlewood Knolls in 1952 to enjoy the summers and winter weekends skating, skiing, and sledding downhill on Overlook and Ridgeway with neighbors and friends. Corinne retired to the Knolls in 1993 and was active in the community, and supported the architectu­ral review committee. Corinne was known for her compassion for gardening, reading, and connecting with her close friends.

Due to Covid restrictio­ns, there will be no calling hours. A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Friday, November 26 at 10: 30 a.m., at St Edward the Confessor Roman Catholic Church, 21 Brush Hill Rd., New Fairfield, CT 06812.
