Holiday craft fair announced
The Danbury Library is
bringing back its fifth annual Holiday Craft Fair event from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday
The event will feature over a dozen local artists and craftspeople from throughout the Danbury region and beyond.
Selections for attendees to purchase will include: Handcrafted jewelry, embroidered textiles, candlemaking, sculptors and more.
There will also be the first-ever community cookbook from the Danbury Library. The cookbook is titled: “Savor Danbury” and will be available for purchase.
The cookbook features over 300 recipes that were previously submitted by members of the community. It’s a way for people to share recipes from Danbury with loved ones.
A group of local volunteer musicians, “Tubachristmas,” will perform in a return performance at the library plaza at 1 p.m. “Tubachristmas,” is also dedicated to developing, expanding, and preserving the music arts.
The Holiday Craft Fair has been a yuletide tradition in the city since 2017.
