The event will include a conversation with the author behind, “Write America,” Roger Rosenblatt. In early 2021, Roger Rosenblatt created Write America, a weekly national reading series now calling Bethel’s Byrd’s Books its home, to foster the healing of political and racial divisions in the country. The series features authors.

Bergman is a co-songwriter with his wife Marilyn. The Bergmans have been married since 1958. Alan Bergman has also been a contributor to the Great American Songbook for more than five decades.

Rosenblatt is a memoirist, essayist, and a novelist. He was recently honored by the Fulbright Association on its 75th anniversary.

Rosenblatt joined Byrd’s Books for an author’s talk about his book, “Cold Moon,” in October 2020.This led to “Write America” choosing Byrd’s Books as its new home.

“Write America,” is generally presented over the Crowdcast Channel platform company software program.
