Students achieve perfect SAT, ACT test scores

Six students from the Immaculate High School in Danbury have achieved perfect test scores on the ACT, and the SAT college admission exams.

The scores are used for college admission decisions and awarding merit-based scholarshi­ps.

The students are: William Doran, and Zifeng Zhan, who received an 800 score on the Math SAT section,

- Caitlin Doherty, who received a perfect ACT score on the English ACT section,

- Calista Dudas, who received a perfect score on the Reading, and Writing ACT section,

- Kennedi Muller, who received a perfect score on the Reading ACT section, and

- Caroline Tucker, who also received a perfect score on the English ACT section.

Immaculate High School was recently recognized as an A+ school by NICHE, a national organizati­on that ranks elementary through college schools based on key statistics provided by the U.S. Department of Education and parent/student reviews. With a counselor-student ratio of 1:125 and teacherstu­dent ratio of 1:7, Immaculate’s academic program offers a diverse college-preparator­y program that includes 30 advanced placement, eight dual enrollment courses and three certificat­ion courses, namely nursing, graphics arts and technology. Outside its academic programs, NICHE ranked the school No. 16 out of 270 high schools that are “Best for Athletes.”
