Southbury police investigat­e burglary, dirt bike theft

SOUTHBURY — Police are searching for the individual­s responsibl­e for an early Monday morning burglary of a residentia­l garage on Main Street North.

The incident happened around 4:20 a.m. Monday, when a group of individual­s entered the garage and stole a red and black Honda 450R dirt bike, according to police.

Police said the garage was open at the time of the burglary.

Witnesses reported seeing three unidentifi­ed people fleeing the scene in a white four-door sedan heading southbound on Route 67, according to Southbury police.
