Nancy K. Warwick, age 76 of New Fairfield, died on November 30th at Danbury Hospital following a short illness. She was the wife of the late Peter J. Warwick Jr.

Nancy was born December 17, 1944 in White Plains, NY, the daughter of the late Arthur and Muriel (Klussner) Nichols. She had spent her childhood and younger years living in Brewster, New York. It was there that she had met the love of her life, Peter. Following their marriage, they moved to Warwick Road in New Fairfield, residing there for 55 years. Nancy was a well-known artist in New Fairfield and the surroundin­g area.

Nancy had attended many art classes throughout the years, and was the recipient of several awards for her works. She was an active member of the New Fairfield Senior Center, where she taught art classes, and also volunteere­d as a receptioni­st, welcoming visitors and guests to the center. She was a member of the Society of Creative Arts of Newtown (SCAN), and the Candlewood League of Artists. She was a parishione­r of Saint Edward the Confessor Church, New Fairfield.

Nancy assisted for several years in the testing of the water quality at Candlewood Lake. She enjoyed photograph­y in her spare time, was a lover of animals, especially her four legged friend Danny Boy, loved living in the farmhouse on Warwick Road, and being a resident of the Town of New Fairfield.

Nancy is survived by her son, Christophe­r Warwick, and her siblings: Diane Head, Carolyn Blaney, and Peter Nichols and his wife Carol, all of Brewster, NY, along with many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30am on Tuesday December 7th at Saint Edward the Confessor Church, New Fairfield. Burial will follow in Gerow Cemetery, New Fairfield.

The family will receive friends at the Green Funeral Home, 57 Main Street, Danbury on Monday December 6th from 4:00pm thru 7:00pm.

Memorial contributi­ons in lieu of flowers are requested to be made to the New Fairfield Senior Center, 33 Route 37, New Fairfield, CT 06812, or to the animal shelter of your choice.
