‘A Christmas Carol’ adaptation to be performed
The TheatreWorks New Milford community theater recently began presenting an adaptation of the classic holiday story, “A Christmas Carol.”
“What the Dickens?” is adapted by TheatreWorks New Milford actor Matt Austin, of New Milford.
The show opened on Friday, Dec. 3, and runs at 8 p.m. on Fridays, and Saturdays, through Saturday, Dec. 18, with a matinee at 2 p.m. on Sunday.
Tickets are $25 for reserved seating. Students, military personnel and veterans with identification will be admitted for $20. Parking is located behind the Catherine E. Lillis Administration Building at 50 East St. in New Milford.
The show is not recommended for children under 13 because of some language and innuendo.
Reservations can be made online at theatreworks.us, or by calling the box office at 860-350-6863.
There will be a TheatresWorks’ Pay-WhatYou-Want night at 8 p.m. on Thursday. Attendees at this event will name the price of their ticket.
TheatreWorks New Milford is a non-equity theater company that is located at 5 Brookside Ave., off of Route 202, next to the CVS pharmacy, in New Milford.
