Dolores M. (Blonski) Toussaint, 90, of New Milford, CT passed away peacefully on Friday, Dec. 3, 2021. She was the loving wife of Fernand (Ferdie) Toussaint for 67 years.

Dolores was born in 1931 in Foster, PA, and moved to Danbury as a teenager.

Dolores was a kind and loving woman with a wonderful sense of humor. She was an avid gardener, an incredible chef, and a devoted mother. She was adored by her 6 grandchild­ren who knew her as Grammy or Mimi. Dolores was immensely proud of her Polish heritage and delighted in entertaini­ng family and guests with traditiona­l Polish feasts on holidays.

She lived for 62 years on Candlewood Lake, relishing in its scenic beauty while creating cherished memories for family and friends. She will always be remembered for her fun loving and infectious spirit.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her children: Peter Toussaint, Kathy (Alan) Dudley and Mark (Jennifer) Toussaint. Her grandchild­ren: Nicole Toussaint, Michelle Toussaint, Connor Dudley, Kara Dudley, Benjamin Toussaint, and Gilbert Toussaint.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00am on Tuesday, December 7, 2021, at Sacred Heart Church, Cottage St, Danbury. Burial will follow in St. Peter Cemetery, Danbury. Those attending the services are requested to wear a mask.

There are no calling hours.
