Danbury fire crews douse Tuesday townhouse blaze

DANBURY — An apartment fire was quickly extinguished on South Street early Tuesday, according to fire officials.

Units responded to a reported fire in a unit at a South Street townhouse complex and found flames on the top floor, officials said.

No injuries were reported. The cause of the fire remains under investigation, and has been classified as undetermined at this time, officials said.
