City man accused of break-in, restraining woman pleads not guilty
DANBURY — The city man accused of physically assaulting and threatening to kill a woman after breaking into her home three months ago pleaded not guilty to the two felony and four misdemeanor charges brought against him.
Apolinar Vazquez was arrested Oct. 20, on a warrant following the alleged September incident and charged with firstdegree unlawful restraint, first-degree reckless endangerment, first-degree burglary, second-degree threatening, thirddegree assault and disorderly conduct.
The 41-year-old pleaded not guilty to all charges and is next scheduled to appear at state Superior Court in Danbury on Jan. 13.
Vazquez remains held at the Bridgeport Correctional Center on $150,000 bond.
